        • Effect of pain management by anesthesia nurses on labor analgesia

Objective To explore the effect of pain management by anesthesia nurses on labor analgesia. Methods A total of 100 parturient women in the Affiliated Hospital of North China University of Science and Technology between July and August 2015 were randomly divided into two groups: analgesia group and control group with 50 in each. Both two groups accepted labor analgesia routine maternity nursing. Analgesia group accepted maternal perinatal term pain management in addition to the routine nursing. Then we compared degree of pain during the production process, labor time and perineal injury between the two groups of women. Results The number of women with a labor pain degree of 0-Ⅲ in the analgesia group was respectively 36 (72%), 12 (24%), 2 (4%) and 0 (0%), and the number in the control group was respectively 23 (46%), 17 (34%), 8 (16%), and 2 (4%). The above difference between the two groups was statistically significant (Z=–2.908, P =0.004). The number of women with intact perineum, perineal injury of lateral and median cut, and Ⅰ-Ⅲ degree laceration in the analgesia group was respectively 31 (62%), 7 (14%), 8 (16%), 4 (8%) and 0 (0%); and the number in the control group was respectively 21 (42%), 12 (24%), 10 (20%), 7 (14%) and 0 (0%), also with significant difference between the two groups (Z =–2.028, P =0.043). The first and second labor stage of the analgesia group was (462.32±101.27) and (63.58±10.38) minutes, and was (568.27±113.28) and (76.92±11.24) minutes in the control group, with significant differences between the two groups (P<0.001). There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in the third labor stage (5.78±3.02) and (5.97±2.96) minutes, (P=0.654). Conclusions The implementation of pain management by anesthesia nurses on labor analgesia can significantly reduce maternal labor pain, shorten the time of labor, and the condition of the perineal injury is mild and easily acceptable. It is worthy of clinical promotion.

        • 成年山羊皮膚干細胞體外克隆與誘導分化

Objective To establish a good method and culture system to isolate skin stem cell and expand it in vitro so as to lay a foundation for exploring the proliferation and differentiation mechanism of skin stem cell. Methods Skin stem cells were obtained by explant culture and identified by using alkaline phosphatase(ALP) staining and differentiating experiment in vitro. Stem cell was induced by the cocktail of conditional medium with cell growth factor (insulin like growth factor and epidermal growth factor). Results Skin stem cell colonies were derived from ear skin tissues of adult dairy goats. The colonies had some characteristics of embryonic stem cells, such as the ability to be continously passaged (Passage 5) and the morphology nest-like. They continued to be ALP positive and had the capacity of forming embryoid bodies. These cells were pluripotent and stem-like cells. In vitro these stem cell can be induced to be Follicle-like structure, Astrocyte-like cells, osteoblast-like cell. Conclusion Explant culture is a good method to isolate skin stem cell, which can be induced to be committed differentiation and trans-differentiation.

        • The Study of Laboratory Tests and Clinical Characteristics of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Subtype Based on a SLE Family

ObjectiveSystemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients from a SLE family with homogeneity can provide experimental basis for individualized diagnosis and treatment by studying the characteristics of laboratory tests and symptoms. MethodsLaboratory tests were analyzed for three SLE patients in the family, and set up the screen model by three laboratory tests (anitnuclear antibody positive, rheumatoid factor positive and IgE positive, ANA+RF+IgE+). All SLE cases were screened from latest four years as SLE subtype patients (named "similar family SLE patients"), then the family laboratory tests and clinical characteristics were analyzed. ResultsA total of 55 patients (6.27%) were screened as similar family SLE patients from individual SLE patients according to model from 877 cases. The laboratory tests of similar family SLE patients including creatinine, WBC, CRP were significant lower than other SLE patients (P < 0.05), but significant higher for the IgG, positive rate of anti-SSA and anti-SSB (P < 0.05), and the alopecia and skin rashes were more common in similar family SLE patients than other SLE patients. ConclusionsThe ANA+RF+IgE+ SLE patients are of lower inflammatory state and kidney involvement; Clinical symptom is priority to alopecia and skin rashes.

        • Present Situation and Progress in Research on HIV/AIDS Laboratory Testing

Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a severe infectious disease induced by human immuno deficiency virus (HIV). Laboratory testing plays an important role in the diagnosis of HIV/AIDS. In general, laboratory testing includes detection of virus antibodies and antigens, virus RNA, immune cells (CD4+, CD8+) and anti-HIV drug resistance. During the past twenty years, great progress has been made in laboratory testing. As research on HIV/AIDS has advanced and biotechnology has developed rapidly, different methods of testing have been discovered. In recent years, the application of molecular biotechnology and immunology has led to important advances for epidemiological surveys, clinical diagnosis and treatment of HIV. The existence of a testing method with high sensitivity and specificity is not only helpful for early diagnosis and prediction, monitoring and evaluation of therapeutic efficacy, but can also reduce the risk of false-negative results. HIV laboratory testing is now developing towards a simple, rapid, sensitive, accurate and automatic way of diagnosing this condition.
