        • Exploration and practice of “coordination of six priorities” teachers training system of standardized residents training

          Standardized residents training is a necessary way to cultivate qualified clinical physicians, and the teaching ability of their mentors will be a key factor affecting the quality of standardized residents training. In view of the problems existing in the current teachers training of standardized residents training, West China Hospital of Sichuan University has innovatively built a “coordination of six priorities” teachers training system to conduct hierarchical training for different types of mentors, in order to improve the quality and achieve homogenization of training. This article mainly elaborates on the problems in the current residents teachers training, the “coordination of six priorities” teachers training system of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and the effect of the teachers training.

        • Role of participation in academic student associations in enhancing scientific innovation capability and comprehensive quality among undergraduate medical students

          Objective To investigate the role of participation in academic student associations in enhancing the scientific innovation capability and comprehensive quality of undergraduate medical students. MethodsThis study was conducted from November to December 2022. Undergraduate medical students majoring in clinical medicine (five-year program) in grade 2017 and 2018 at West China School of Medicine of Sichuan University were included in the study. These students were divided into two groups based on their participation in a five-star academic student associations of West China School of Medicine: the exposure group and the control group. The study compared the average scores of compulsory courses during the first four years of undergraduate study, competency multi-station assessment scores, comprehensive quality assessment scores, and scientific innovation capability between the two groups. Subgroup and stratification analyses were also conducted based on grade level and average scores of compulsory courses. Results A total of 433 students were surveyed. Among them, there were 348 students in the control group and 85 students in the exposure group. The average scores of compulsory courses, competency multi-station assessment scores, comprehensive quality assessment scores, and scientific innovation capability of students in the exposure group were higher than those of students in the control group (P<0.05). Similar results were observed in subgroup analysis by grade level. The sub group analysis of the average scores of compulsory courses showed that in tertileⅠ(≥ 85 and ≤ 100 points) and tertileⅡ (≥ 80 and<85 points), the competency multi-station assessment scores, comprehensive quality assessment scores, and scientific innovation capability of the exposure group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). However, in tertile Ⅲ (>0 and<80 points), the exposure group showed better scores in competency multi-station assessment scores and scientific innovation capability than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Participation in academic student associations can effectively improve the scientific innovation capability and comprehensive quality of students with medium and above grades.

        • STUDY ON MECHNISM OF THE CIRCULATION RECONSTRUCTING OF SKIN FLAP AFTER EARLY-REPEATED SHORT ISCHEMIA TRAINING

          Objective To investigate the effects of repeated shortischemia training on flap survival area, vascular endothelial growth factor and the microvascularsel density. Methods Seventy-two rabbits were divided into:the experimental group(n=64), the skin flaps were constructed in two sides of back, one side flap were given ischemia training for 15 minutes and 8 times one day at the pedicles from the 1st to 8th day after operation (group A), the other side flap was served as a control (group B), the corresponding site was only marked as a blank control group (group C).Then, 8 pedicles of group A and group Bwere isolated every day. The surviving area of all skin flaps were calculated on the5th day after isolating operation. The vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and microvessel density(MVD) of the 3 groups were checked with immunohistologochemical staining. Results After the operation, all animalswere survival with normal vitality.The survival flap area of group A were significant more than that of group B after 3 days(Plt;0.05).The expressions of VEGF and MVD of group A and group B were higher than group C. The expression of VEGF of group A was significantly higher than that of group B(Plt;0.01). The counting of MVD of group A was also significantly higher than that of group B(Plt;0.05). There was positive correlation between flap survival area and MVD in group A. The relation of time point was n and n 2 respectively,correlation coefficient was 0.850. As well as MVD and VEGF were positive correlation,correlation coefficient was 0.801. Conclusion Early repeated shortischemia training can increase flap survival area, the mechanism maybe involve the increased expression of VEGF, which can increased skin flap microvascular density.

        • Implementation of control system and software design for limbs rehabilitation training based on PCI-1240

          This article presents the design of a motion control system for seated lower-limb rehabilitation training. The system is composed of lower limb exoskeleton, motor drive circuit, program of motion control, and so forth. The power of lower limbs joints is provided by six motors. The PCI-1240 motion control card is used as the core. This study achieved repetitive rotation training and gait trajectory training of lower limbs joints, of which the velocity, angle and time can be accurately controlled and adjusted. The experimental results showed that the motion control system can meet the requirement of repetitive rehabilitation training for patients with lower limb dysfunction. This article provides a new method to the research of motion control system in rehabilitation training, which can promote industrial automation technique to be used for health care, and conducive to the further study of the rehabilitation robot.

        • Efficacy of core training in the treatment of diastasis recti abdominis in postpartum women: a meta-analysis

          ObjectiveTo systematically review the effects of core training for diastasis recti abdominis (DRA) in postpartum period. MethodsThe PubMed, EMbase, EBSCO, Cochrane Library, CNKI, CBM and WanFang Data databases were electronically searched to collect randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on core training for patients with DRA postpartum from inception to December 7, 2022. Two reviewers independently screened the literature, extracted data, and assessed the risk of bias of the included studies. Meta-analysis was then performed using RevMan 5.4 software. ResultsA total of 12 RCTs were included, involving 741 patients with DRA postpartum. The results of the meta-analysis demonstrated that core training significantly reduced inter-recti distance (IRD) above the umbilicus (SMD=?1.37, 95%CI ?2.30 to ?0.44, P<0.05), below the umbilicus (SMD=?0.82, 95%CI ?1.28 to ?0.36, P<0.05), at the level of the umbilicus during contraction of the rectus abdominis (RA) (SMD=?0.76, 95%CI ?1.24 to ?0.28, P<0.05) and above the umbilicus during RA contraction (SMD=?3.41, 95%CI ?5.12 to ?1.69, P<0.05) in patients with DRA postpartum. Additionally, the results indicated that core training could improve visual analogue scale, abdominal circumference, waist-hip ratio, lumbopelvic control impairment, lumbopelvic proprioception, the static and dynamic overall balance stability, the static and dynamic anterior-posterior balance stability, medial-lateral static balance stability and Oswestry disability index in patients with DRA postpartum (P<0.05). However, no significant improvement was observed in inter-recti distance (IRD) below the umbilicus during RA contraction, the score of inventory of functional status after childbirth questionnaire, the score of multidimensional body-self relations questionnaire, medial-lateral dynamic balance stability or the score of pelvic floor impact questionnaire in patients with DRA postpartum (P>0.05). ConclusionCore training may improve IRD, pain intensity, total abdominal fat and fat distribution and balance in patients with DRA postpartum, but its efficacy in improving postpartum functional status, body image satisfaction or the degree of dysfunction is unclear. Due to the limited quality and quantity of the included studies, more high quality studies are required to verify the above conclusion.

        • Control System Design and Test of Digital Comprehensive Training Treadmill for Rats

          This article presents the design of a treadmill of comprehensive training experiment for rats. The treadmill is composed of six tracks and two of them were designed as conventional plane, two were designed to swing right and left, and two were designed to swing back and forth. The power was provided by six motors. The MSP430F149 is used as core to adjust the swing rate and the grade of electric shock. The IAR for MSP430 is used to design the software. The speed of the six tracks could be adjusted between 0 and 30 m/min. The swing tracks of back and forth can be swung for 3-25 times per minute and the swing tracks of right and left for 3-32 times. The electric shock can be divided into three levels, i.e. strong, middle, and weak level for each track. The digital comprehensive training treadmill can meet different training needs, and provide experimental data for mechanism research of some related diseases.

        • Application of Semi-supervised Sparse Representation Classifier Based on Help Training in EEG Classification

          Electroencephalogram (EEG) classification for brain-computer interface (BCI) is a new way of realizing human-computer interreaction. In this paper the application of semi-supervised sparse representation classifier algorithms based on help training to EEG classification for BCI is reported. Firstly, the correlation information of the unlabeled data is obtained by sparse representation classifier and some data with high correlation selected. Secondly, the boundary information of the selected data is produced by discriminative classifier, which is the Fisher linear classifier. The final unlabeled data with high confidence are selected by a criterion containing the information of distance and direction. We applied this novel method to the three benchmark datasets, which were BCIⅠ, BCIⅡ_Ⅳ and USPS. The classification rate were 97%,82% and 84.7%, respectively. Moreover the fastest arithmetic rate was just about 0.2 s. The classification rate and efficiency results of the novel method are both better than those of S3VM and SVM, proving that the proposed method is effective.

        • Observation on the effect of early rehabilitation training post operation in renal transplantation recipients

          ObjectiveTo explore the effect of rehabilitation training focusing on early exercise on the time of first getting out of bed after surgery, pain during early activities, postoperative infection rate and the length of hospital stay for renal transplant recipients.MethodsThe clinical data of patients undergoing allogeneic renal transplantation in West China Hospital of Sichuan University from June to August 2020 were analyzed retrospectively. According to the time of multidisciplinary postoperative management and the time of early rehabilitation intervention, the patients were divided into the conventional group (from June 2020 to the beginning of multidisciplinary postoperative management) and the rehabilitation group (after multidisciplinary postoperative management). The time to get out of bed for the first time after surgery, the Visual Analogue Score (VAS) during weight monitoring on the second day post operation, the number of days required to complete an independent walk of 100 meters, postoperative complications, the incidence of postoperative infection and the length of hospital stay were compared between the two groups.ResultsA total of 79 patients were included. There were 46 cases in the conventional group and 33 cases in the rehabilitation group. Among the included patients, 14 patients had postoperative infection, 1 patients in the conventional group developed thrombosis, no catheter shedding or bleeding after exercise occurred. The differences between the rehabilitation group and the conventional group in the time to get out of bed for the first time after surgery [(1.1±0.2) vs. (2.2±0.4) d; t=13.224, P<0.001], the VAS during weight monitoring on the day post operation (2.5±0.9 vs. 3.4±1.4; t=3.267, P<0.001), the number of days required to complete an independent walk of 100 meters [(2.2±0.4) vs. (4.0±0.8) d; t=11.312, P<0.001], and the incidence of postoperative infection (6.1% vs. 26.1%; χ2=5.285, P=0.022) were statistically significant. There was no significant difference in the length of stay between the rehabilitation group and the conventional group [(19.8±5.8) vs. (20.7±7.4) d; t=0.584, P=0.561].ConclusionEarly postoperative rehabilitation training reduces the time required for renal transplant recipients to get out of bed for the first time post operation and to walk 100 meters independently, reduce the pain response during early activities, and reduce the incidence of postoperative infection.

        • Research progress on cardiac rehabilitation in patients with implanted cardiac defibrillator

          Implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) is the most effective measure to prevent sudden cardiac death. However, ICD patients frequently have problems such as decline of exercise tolerance and quality of life, anxiety and depression after operation, which require cardiac rehabilitation (CR). A considerable amount of studies have proved that CR is an effective secondary prevention measure for patients with cardiovascular disease. Its safety and effectiveness have been supported by evidence-based medicine research, which can prevent the recurrence of cardiovascular events, reduce the readmisson rate, and promote healthy behavior and active lifestyle formation of patients, so as to improve the quality of life of patients. This review mainly summarized the necessity, safety, exercise program and economic benefits of CR in ICD patients.

        • Interpretation of the updates in the adults cardiopulmonary resuscitation in 2022 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science with Treatment Recommendations

          The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation published the 2022 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science with Treatment Recommendations in Circulation, Resuscitation, and Pediatrics in November 2022. This consensus updates and recommends important aspects of cardiopulmonary resuscitation based on recently published resuscitation evidence. Herein, we interpret the consensus focusing on adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation including basic life support (ventilation techniques, compressions pause, transport strategies during resuscitation, and resuscitation procedures in drowning), advanced life support (target temperature management, point-of-care ultrasound as a diagnostic tool during cardiac arrest, vasopressin and corticosteroids for cardiac arrest, and post-cardiac arrest coronary angiography), cardiopulmonary resuscitation education/implementation/team (survival prediction after resuscitation of patients with in-hospital cardiac arrest, basic life support training, advanced life support training, blended learning for life support education, and faculty development approaches for life support courses) and recovery positions on rescue scene. This consensus provides important guidance for clinical practice and clear hints for the development of clinical research.
