ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of constructing new nurse training system on the competency of the nurses. MethodsA total of 192 new nurses who started their career in 2012 and 2013 were divided into two groups based on the time. Ninety-six of them who became nurses in 2012 were regarded as controls, and they received traditional training, while the other 96 new nurses of 2013 were chosen to be the experimental group, and they accepted the new training model for all-round training. Then, we compared the two groups of nurses in terms of their theoretical knowledge, operative skills and comprehensive ability. ResultsThe theoretical knowledge, operative skills and comprehensive ability scores of nurses in the experimental group were all significantly higher than the control group, while the error rate of the experimental group was significantly lower, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). ConclusionThe new nurse training system can improve the nurses' competency, which can provide a reference for standardized training of nurses.
Exercise rehabilitation is a central component of stroke treatment and recovery, playing a vital role in promoting neurological function, improving quality of life, and reducing disability rates among patients. To facilitate the scientific and standardized advancement of exercise rehabilitation for adult stroke patients in China, the guideline development team strictly adhered to the requirements of the WHO Guidelines Manual and formulated the Evidence-Based Practice Guidelines for Exercise Rehabilitation of Adult Stroke Patients. These guidelines systematically summarize the current best evidence for post-stroke exercise rehabilitation, address 14 core rehabilitation questions, including rehabilitation timing, assessment, and methods, for adult stroke patients, and provide 16 specific recommendations. The guideline is primarily intended for healthcare professionals involved in stroke rehabilitation, including those in neurology, rehabilitation medicine, and community-based rehabilitation settings. It aims to improve the quality and effectiveness of exercise rehabilitation, enhance patient outcomes, and support the rational allocation of healthcare resources.
Central pathway and postural control (CPPC) technique is a neurorehabilitation physiotherapy technique developed by the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of West China Hospital of Sichuan University. The technique focuses on the internal mechanism and external manifestation of the central nervous conduction pathway of postural control, and uses neuroscience theory to explain and analyze the dysfunction of patients. Clinical practice and research results show that CPPC technique has good curative effect and application prospect. This paper mainly introduces the basic principles and core concepts of CPPC technique, commonly used evaluation and treatment methods, achievements and application promotion in recent years, and aims to provide a theoretical reference and guidance for further application and in-depth research of this technique.
