越來越多的文獻提示伴中央顳區棘波兒童良性癲癇患兒認知問題表現低于同齡正常兒童, 雖然有大量臨床和影像學研究探討過抗癲癇藥物、發作間期放電等因素對患兒行為認知情況的影響, 但是發作間期放電的抑制程度與患兒行為認知恢復水平之間的關系并沒有得到確切的結論, 通過查閱最近伴中央顳區棘波兒童良性癲癇患兒相關臨床和影像學文獻, 探討抗癲癇藥物、發作間期放電等相關因素對患兒行為認知的影響
