目的研究情緒應激大鼠顳下頜關節（TMJ）誘生型一氧化氮合酶（iNOS）在其軟骨組織內的表達和作用。方法選擇Sprague-Dawley雄性大鼠40只，隨機選取10只作為正常組，一直定時喂水，余30只采用空瓶飲水建立大鼠應激模型，在動物應激后的1、3、5周時，分別切取10只大鼠TMJ標本行EnVision兩步法免疫組織化學檢測iNOS。結果正常組TMJ軟骨無或有極少量iNOS表達，應激1周TMJ標本中，已可見iNOS表達；應激3周TMJ標本中表達強烈；應激5周TMJ標本陽性細胞數顯著減少且顏色變淺，已呈弱陽性。結論 iNOS在顳下頜關節紊亂發生發展過程中起著重要的作用，抑制iNOS的生成有可能會阻斷顳下頜關節紊亂的發生和發展。
