        • Construction of a healthcare-associated infection management quality evaluation index system and an empirical study of comprehensive evaluation

          Objective To construct a quality evaluation index system for healthcare-associated infection (HAI) management, and conduct an empirical evaluation on the quality of HAI management in clinical departments. Methods The literature research method and panel discussion method were adopted to initially form the framework of HAI management quality evaluation index system, and the Delphi method and the analytic hierarchy process were used to establish the index system and determine the weights from January to December 2018. Eight comprehensive evaluation methods, such as osculating value method and technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution method, were used to evaluate the quality of HAI management in clinical departments of West China Hospital, Sichuan University in 2018. Kendall’s coefficient of concordance (W) was used to assess the consistency of the results. The clinical departments were ranked by the standardized total scores, which were the means of the normalized scores of the eight methods. Results A quality evaluation index system for HAI management with 3 first-level indicators and 15 second-level indicators was established finally. The results of the eight comprehensive evaluation methods for the quality evaluation of HAI management in 39 clinical departments of West China Hospital, Sichuan University were consistent (W=0.952, χ2=259.800, P<0.001). The standardized total score of Department 18 was 100, which ranked the first place. Conclusion The HAI management quality evaluation index system constructed in this study could be used in clinical departments to evaluate the quality of HAI management in combination with comprehensive evaluation methods.

        • Construction of a quality evaluation index system for Party building work in public hospitals

          Objective To preliminarily construct a scientific, effective and applicable quality evaluation index system for Party building work in public hospitals of China. Methods Based on quality management theory, literature and policy research before June 2022, combining qualitative research methods including in-depth individual interviews, focus group discussions, and the modified Delphi method, and grounded in theoretical analysis and field investigations, this study constructed a quality evaluation index system for Party building work in public hospitals in the context of high-quality development. Results A quality evaluation index system for Party building work in public hospitals was developed, consisting of 6 primary indicators, 16 secondary indicators, and 36 tertiary indicators. Among the 36 tertiary indicators, 20 were qualitative and 16 were quantitative. Further refinement led to the proposal of 8 core indicators, expanding the applicability of the index system. Conclusion This study provides robust support for further improving the quality evaluation index system for Party building work in public hospitals in China, offering both theoretical foundations and practical guidance for comprehensive evaluation and comparative analysis of Party building work quality and performance across different regions.

        • Construction of an evaluation index system for the dissemination influence of new media health science popularization works

          ObjectiveTo construct an evaluation index system for the dissemination influence of new media health science popularization, providing a quantitative evaluation tool for comprehensively assessing the dissemination influence of health science communication works. MethodsMeta integration, Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) were used to build a preliminary evaluation index system, form a framework of the evaluation index system, and calculate the weight values of the evaluation indexes, respectively. ResultsA total of 18 studies were included through retrieval. On the basis of preliminary evaluation index system, ten experts in related professional fields were invited to participate in two rounds of expert consultation, resulting in an evaluation index system framework that includes 2 first-level indicators, 4 second-level indicators, and 9 third-level indicators. ConclusionA preliminary evaluation index system for the dissemination and influence of new media health science communication works, which is reliable, universally applicable, and has a reasonable structure, is constructed.

        • Construction of an evaluation index system for labor literacy among medical undergraduates

          Objective To construct a scientific and systematic evaluation index system for labor literacy among medical undergraduates, to provide references for the implementation and management of labor education in medical schools, and to promote the deep integration of medical education and labor education. Methods Computerized literature retrieval was performed in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), WanFang Data, and VIP databases, PubMed, and Web of Science, as well as relevant documents. The retrieval time frame covered from the establishment of each database to June 1, 2025. Based on Marxist labor theory, the Iceberg Model, and the Onion Model, an initial pool of indicator items was established through literature analysis. The Delphi method was employed for two rounds of expert correspondence, inviting experts to score and screen the indicators from July to August 2025. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0 to assess expert engagement, authority coefficient, and the degree of opinion concentration and coordination. Results A total of 15 experts were included. Two rounds of correspondence consultation were conducted. The effective questionnaire response rates for both rounds of correspondence were 100%. The expert authority coefficients were 0.82 and 0.83, respectively. Kendall’s coefficient of concordance was significant (P<0.05), and all variation coefficients were less than 0.25, indicating converging expert opinions. The final evaluation system was composed of 4 first-level indicators, 8 second-level indicators, and 18 third-level indicators. Conclusions The evaluation index system for labor literacy among medical undergraduates combines theoretical rigor with the characteristics of medical education, providing a scientific tool for the assessment of labor literacy. Further empirical research is needed to validate its reliability and validity.
