介紹Meta 分析中異質性研究，包括Meta 分析中異質性的定義，并將異質性分為臨床異質性、方法學異質性、統計學異質性三類，介紹減少納入臨床異質性和方法學異質性研究的措施，統計學異質性的五種檢驗方法（Q統計量、I2 統計量、H 統計量、Galbraith 圖法、L’Abbe 圖）、實例分析及適用情況。根據異質性的有無將Meta 分析分為探索型Meta 分析和分析型Meta 分析，存在異質性時可采取的措施及其流程圖。
