報道6例海綿竇血栓靜脈炎，5例經治療眼癥狀及全身癥狀消失，1例死亡。感染為首先要原因，多在1～3個月發病，可能與氣候寒冷易感冒有關。因海綿竇解剖特點，體征較早表現于眼部，幼年者易患，故有感染性疾病者應警惕發生本病，視力損害嚴重，應特別重視。 （中華眼底病雜志，1993，9：106-107）
