鑒于慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)的氣流受限特點是進行性發展，而且不能完全可逆，同時COPD帶來沉重的社會經濟負擔，成為勞動力喪失和死亡的重要原因之一。因而近年來國外一些學者主張早期干預COPD，并且提出許多理由，諸如早期干預COPD可以減少癥狀，減少動態過度充氣，改善肺功能，提高生命質量等。然而，必須看到COPD的早期干預是一項很艱難的系統工程，有許多問題需要大家認真思考和討論，尤其是在我國這個問題尤為重要和復雜。故愿就我國COPD的早期干預問題談一些不成熟的看法，以就正于同道。
