作者采用猴制急性壞死性胰腺炎（ANP）模型，觀察腫瘤壞死因子（TNF）以及生長抑素對猴ANP血漿TNF和猴死亡情況的影響。結果發現：猴ANP早期其血漿TNF明顯升高，與猴死亡呈平行關系；生長抑素可明顯降低TNF含量，使猴死亡率下降，存活時間延長。提示TNF是AFP早期的重要炎癥介質，生長抑素可明顯抑制炎癥反應過程，對猴ANP有確切的治療效果。
