下肢慢性靜脈功能不全（chronic venous insufficiency, CVI）是國人常見的血管外科疾病。人們最早認識的是以大隱靜脈曲張為代表的淺靜脈功能不全。20世紀初Homans就提出治療大隱靜脈曲張的手術方式“大隱靜脈高位結扎、抽剝術”，至今仍為治療該病的經典手術方式。盡管100年來對此手術方式有所改良或改進，但手術的基本原則并未改變，即消除曲張淺靜脈（不管用什么方式）以打斷淺靜脈返流，達到降低靜脈高壓的目的。......
