Gastric glomus tumors (GGTs) are extremely rare in clinical practice. This study reports the clinical, imaging, and pathological features of 5 patients with GGTs, with particular emphasis on illustrating two typical imaging characteristics—hypervascularity and a hypoenhancing ring surrounding the lesion—and clarifying their underlying pathological mechanisms. Furthermore, the key criteria for distinguishing between benign and malignant GGTs are elaborated, which provides valuable references for preoperative accurate imaging diagnosis, rational selection of clinical treatment strategies, and reliable prognosis assessment of GGTs.
